Yup. They knew how outgunned they were. It was equivalent to being a small town policeman in the 1930's when gangsters robbed the town bank. You've got a six shot .38 revolver, and they have Thompson submachine guns... and those poor bastards had no body armor, either.

In my profession I tell my clients and people I work with , I’m not going to pretend to know what you do, I’m just examining what you did with benefit of hindsight. We should all keep in mind we have hindsight whereas they are in real time w the unknown.

I have all the respect in the world for law enforcement because not one day in my career involves the word “gun” or “line of Fire.”

I have my issues with cops, but I have a hard time getting upset here. This was a bad situation.

How come it seems lately that the only time cops wanna be bad asses, shooting first and asking questions later, is when they're opening up on an unarmed 15 year old black kid?

I would like to think America could respect police officers more by limiting the amount of weapons they deal with every day and the killing power of these weapons.

Afterwards, a local Fox station invited the cop in question and other law enforcement to a hockey game to thank them for their efforts. Sometimes a picture speaks for itself....

There’s an event I’ll be attending next spring that is being held at Mandalay Bay.

I’ll be booking a hotel somewhere else.

This smacks of a legal department banking on the modern news cycle and people forgetting about their moral outrage in a week or two. I understand why a for-profit corporation would go to great lengths to protect its bottom line, but short of MGM actually asking for damages from victims, this could not be a worse look.
Lawsuits claim MGM has no liability to Las Vegas shooting victims
