    Is it possible the cops were stiff-arming the reporters all day and they are taking it out on them? Not saying it's right or anything.

    In my experience, most reporters are too timid rather than too aggressive in press conference settings.

    That's bullshit. The layout of the campus is such that they could've shut down the roads leading to the area. That would've limited traffic going to the area.

    If I was an editor, and I heard one of my reporters acting like some of these reporters, I would call them in and tell them to knock it off.

    Let me quote spnited. We are not the story, we are the story tellers. This is a big deal. These people are taking time they could be investigating to brief us. Is it so hard to be polite?

    This press conference is ridiculous. Unfortunately the first rule of crisis communication is "tell it first, tell it fast" otherwise all kinds of misinformation gets out there.

    I shudder at the thought of having to deal with something like this in our company.
