Parents, too. I took my dad to the hospital this morning (he'll be fine, we think) only to hear about this tragedy on the radio when I left.

It's a big campus, I'd not be surprised if they didn't.
If he's not an engineering student and went into an engineering class, it's not out of possibility that he'd not be known.

CNN quoting one of the survivors as saying the shooter was wearing a "Boy Scout-type outfit." WTF?

If the guy was crazy enough to kill 33 innocent people and wound however many more for no reason, then he probably would be crazy enough to wear a "Boy Scout-type outfit."
