Shooting at Va. Tech

I don't know if he had a reason. He didn't say anything to anyone, according to every witness account I've read. He just kept shooting. He also had no identification on him. Maybe he was just fucking crazy (well, he was definitely fucking crazy, but maybe there is no motive. Not likely, but isn't it possible?).

I mean, he was probably looking for someone, but don't people usually say why they're doing things like this during the act? Don't they usually want to send a verbal message, too?

 

Blacksburg has been always one of my favorite places in this country to go. The ride from Roanoke to there is worth it alone.
That's part of why I'm so pissed about this, I could picture all these places mentioned. One of the best campuses in the US will forever be associated with one fool's lack of control and flipout.

 

What happened to the earlier mention of him shooting people after asking them where his girlfriend was? I believe I read that here, so I don't know where it originated. But did he ask people where someone was? Or was that just BS?

 

That was in the early reporting, not sure if it's been retracted or not.

 

Is the speed limit still 65? God, that is always an agonizing trip ..

I always liked the ride, I must be in the minority.

 

I don't know why this guy didn't seem to have a message to deliver. What really bugs me is that he didn't seem to be interested in a hostage situation.

I'd like to know more about the suicide. He was clearly in control, and it's clear that he enjoyed being in control. So does the suicide indicate that he was about to lose control? Or does it mean he finished the job he had planned?

 

Fucking douchebag. Jesus. Fuck you.

 

Why didn't he just do it first?
