"Great moments in postgame press conferences" from Chris Young's blog today in the Star:

His favorite in the last 23 years is Lee Elia, Chicago Cubs manager, saluting the Chicago fans.

He uses fuck as a noun, verb, adverb and every other part of speech you can think of. Classic.

I was prepared to say something in Denny Green's defense ... until he threw his OC under the bus. That was ass.

Yeah, i thought that kinda bullshit too, shottie. But you knew he wasn't going anywhere, so someone had to be the scapegoat...

Pall, there is a huge difference between an emotional meltdown during the game (usually not good) and an emotional meltdown after the game, especially during the postgame news conference, which doesn't matter a bit.

So a coach's actions in a press conference don't matter? Ever?

Yeah. Bush league ... lost a lot of respect with that move.

Also, Brian Billick tossed Jim Fassel in front of the train. That was crap as well. Hey, the Panthers' defense doesn't stink, Mr. Billick. If you're feeling heat, why not just take it instead of blaming someone else? Nice leadership skills. ::)

The Ravens' offense does rank 28th in the NFL. Not saying the firing is right, because the Ravens aren't exactly built to score like the Colts, but that offense hasn't gotten it done all season.
