Should I let my son quit football?

Bro, I am not spending the next half hour googling Robert Smith.
A cursory search does not bring up much, you are right.
His post-football career is more mystifying than I thought.
When I am around my books later I will find the citation.
But this has been a fucktarded argument.
Just think you should show more respect for a decent guy.
Respect for someone who has shared his interest in science and astronomy with children.
One year in Minneapolis he took a group of kids to the planetarium.

    Didn't he break his leg?

I definitely had a (female) crush on Robert Smith, although I had a bigger crush on Joe Senser - who I saw recently has not aged well, btw.

I don't know anything about the dynamics of being on a football team but I did make the junior high cheerleading squad, only to learn I didn't like actually cheering. Rather than quit, I got myself kicked off the squad for inappropriate behavior. It was worth it. I much preferred inappropriate behavior.

Yeah but they heal. Jack Youngblood played in a Super Bowl with a broken leg.

I have a crush on Rae Dawn Chong.
Still a great looking woman at 50.
But I'll take Robert Smith if I get to play with his telescope.

It's a telescope into his broken heart.

OK, I can't let people make fun of the real Robert Smith. Even I have a limit to my sense of humor.

Roberto Duran and Scottie Pippen think the rest of these quitters are amateurs.
