Should I let my son quit football?

    Yay! Back to the Robert Smith thread. Was jonesing pretty hard for some astronomy talk.

    We're not here to entertain you.
    We were trying to resolve a matter of some controversy.
    It was on topic as the player in question walked after a brief career.
    Not to mention the year he took off in college.

    Are you kidding, I had fun on this thread all day at work.
    It's been full of laughs.
    But I am now going to take the rear exit.
    Still would like to know what attracted the young man to football in the first place.

    i dunno. hitler quitting was a good thing. and in the same breath, favre quitting was a good thing.

    Well, both sort of had "quitting" forced upon them.

    (Even Favre knows that winter weather hurts an offense more than a defense.)
