Selig wants nothing to upstage the World Series. ARod's big news couldn't wait until today? Or tomorrow?

Let me guess---in one of Jesus' losses that year, Joe Morgan had the game winning hit against him.

You do understand that ARod announced his opt-out DURING THE GAME. Gammons was asked a question about the timing of ARod's opt-out and he answered.

Maybe so, Doc. But Boras works for A-Rod, not the other way around.

A-Rod didn't wish to bother to show up for an a major award at a World Series site, yet Boras has the gall to pull this crap? If A-Rod is so incredibly good, then he should fire Boras and negotiate his own deal.

Wrong, Zeke, Bor-ass works for Bor-ass.
He calls all the shots with all his clients to feed his own massive ego.

Well, I know what you're saying, but, still, ARod has to OK this shit.

Whoever's decision it was, I thought it sucked.

  8. This may have been said already, haven't read all seven pages, but the worst part of it for me was that he couldn't reach Cashman so he left him a voice message.

    Stay classy, Boras.

He also sent him a text message sent a fax to the Yankees and the MLBPA to have it officially in writing.
The problem is, the fucking ego-maniac slimeball agent couldn't wait until today to make the announcement

Exactly. I don't think A-Rod had anything to do with it other than the decision to actually opt out. The announcement has Boras' slimy fingerprints all over it.

  11. As an athlete, I'd fall in line with Boras because he gets you paid. What else if there really to care about. Last time I checked, A-Rod gave two craps about being considered one of the great Yankees.

If there was ever a need for reporters to need representation, I would sign up with the Boras equivalent in a heartbeat.

  12. And if I remember the timing, didn't it break just after the Sox went up 4-1?
