    I don't think she's a terrible pick or anything. It's fine. Especially because SI acknowledges it is partly a lifetime achievement award for her.

    I don't know that I would have taken Playboy's mantel and run with it, though, for the cover shot.

    Maybe next year we'll get a cover shot of Michael Phelps laying on a bed getting a blow job. You don't usually see goofy-looking guys getting head.

    Did I miss something? Has something been deleted? Where did Dick react violently? He's expressed an opinion, stated his case and done nothing more that I've seen.

    I know nothing about the picture or how it came about so I got nothing on that.
    I think Dick's point about the horse is valid. It isn't the horse so much as the whole team - particularly the owner. First Triple Crown winner in ages. I was the only one in our office as we were watching the Belmont who was alive the last time. There's a lot of money in that horse getting laid frequently. Yet the owner allowed him to run THREE times afterward. Three times taking a risk that something Barbaro-level awful could happen. The horse team, like many of the candidates, had a strong case.

    She is indeed a stunning, athletic woman, and she had a good 2015.

    But the horse had a better year :)
