    My Armenian grandmother had Roki, which is a licorice-like liquer very similar to the Greek Ouzo. A shot of that burned all away the way down as it destroyed the bad germs. No, we didn't get a whole shot, just one little sip.

    I had Malört. Once. I lived, but barely.

    There is a guy I know who swears by the stuff. He makes a lot more money than me. He's also the only person I've seen drink it.
