It's nearing midnight on Feb. 14 and I'm hoping to live vicariously through my fellow SJers ... anyone 'dating' have a good/fun/cute/special valentine's day, or shall we all just drink a beer together via PM?

I say we drink together via PM, ducks!

I got a match e-mail from a guy today -- 20 years old and he fears the apostrophe. Good lord.

Just got home from my date, cooked my friend dinner and watched a movie. All in all a pretty good night.

SC -- at least he's the right age range for you. ;D

Ross -- how's that going with the best friend's sister?

It's going pretty well, she is really fun to hang out with. Her job takes up a pretty fair amount of her time, but I figured as much for someone in as well paying a field as she is in. But we make time to see each other when our schedules allow for it, which is not all that often seeing as I work graveyard at my job.

Did everyone have a happy singles awareness day?

I heard that term at least a half dozen times yesterday and it still makes me laugh.

Isn't it ironic that the acronym for that would be SAD?

A friend introduced me to the term when we were in high school. And it didn't matter if he was single or not -- he always called this singles awareness day.

Though i'm sure that changed when he got married.
