    This happened to me recently:

I was seeing a girl and things were going great. We had the same interests, she didn't mind my crazy work schedule and wasn't offended by the "C" word. Rather, she made an effort to use it in everyday conversion. :D

Add that fact she was drop dead gorgeous, and I couldn't be happier.

But about a week and a half ago, she added some dude as a Facebook friend and immediately dropped him into her top friends. I was curious and asked who he was. She said a cousin and, naturally, I went with it.

Then, almost out of the blue, she started getting flaky. Not returning texts or phone calls. Saying she was too busy to hang out, even for a quick lunch or an hour at my apartment.

Now she's dating the guy, which I would've been OK with had she told the truth. Being someone who's a bit behind the dating curve for 28, I'm just wondering why people can't be honest.

I mean, what's the point of lying? I just don't get it ... and never will.

That sucks, Trey. That bitch deserves to burn (literally) for that. Heartless.

We're not all like that, I promise.

Sorry to hear that, Trey. I agree with ijag, though.

What burns me more than anything is that she didn't even have the guts to admit it.

I had to, um, "investigate" and put two and two together. They were both offline all day Saturday, they both were "exhausted" by the end of the weekend and both, unless it was some amazing coincidence, were in a relationship when Monday finally rolled around.

And she had the nerve to be "pissed" at me. ::)

    Screw her, Trey. Not literally.

Instead, you should screw one of her friends. :D

I've pulled that before, and then gone back out with the guy in Trey's position after the other guy pissed me off (I won't change my facebook relationship status unless a guy moves in. I learned my lesson).

So, um, yea, well, if you fuck my friend, I will so fucking kill you!

Never understood the "you're pissed because I'm upset that you're treating me like shit" line of logic. Gotten that twice before; in an unrelated story, I've been cheated on twice.

So wait...you started seeing someone else while still seeing the first person and didn't call it off?

    Oh, chickie...

Trey, forget her. She was just a cold-hearted bitch who wasn't worth your time.

Here's my question, sc: Why "pull that" in the first place?

Is it indecision? Is it doing it because you can?

    Enlighten me, please.
