Are you going to allow anyone to express a contrary opinion on the nominees without shouting them down in a condescending manner? Reread spup1122's post. There was no rancor in it. Keep that in mind.

You're my favorite Stallone, but I wasn't shouting anyone down. Spup and others are welcome to post their opinion and vote the way they feel. I can't control that, nor do I want to control that.

If some people think Newbies or others should post more frequently or on more subjects, that's fine. I just happen to think the substance matters more. I'm probably in the minority, but I'm fine with that.

He's only posted on like two threads. I don't think you need to post everywhere, but I can't see voting for somebody with 30 posts. It smacks of jocksniffing a bit.

Voting for the popular kid, and I didn't vote for someone who posts that much. I voted for Writing Irish. Makes me laugh on the silly threads and makes me think on the serious ones. Exactly what a good poster should be.
