Getting back to trip logistics, I'm making plans to go.

If there's a women looking to split the cost of a room, PM me.

Anyone who needs a ride from the metro Detroit area & is willing to kick in some gas money, PM me -- I have room for 1 or 2 in my car. The whos and wheres of that will determine whether I leave Thurs. night or Fri. a.m.

I have to, in fact, make that same drive tonight.

It should take about three hours to get to the outskirts of TO from Motown, and add another half hour getting into downtown. Optomistically 3.5 hours from border to hotel downtown.

If you don't count potential delays crossing the border, you can make it from Windsor to Toronto in 3.5-4 hours depending on how fast you drive.

Speed limit's 100 kph (60 or so) but they'll leave you alone right up to 120 kph. You can get away with 130 o 140 if the cops are in a good mood.

Also, if you've never done that drive, be warned: it is one of the most colossally boring drives in the universe.

    I know it's 15 minutes from Tahoe.

JR, let's eliminate the metrics for Moddy.

    120 kph = ~75 mph
    130 kph = ~80 mph
    140 kph = ~85-86 mph

Four hours ... at least according to John Forslund, who was calling PBP for the Hurricanes-Maple Leafs game Tuesday night ...
