Tell her to call my wife, who just knew she was going to hang out with a bunch of message-board addicted goobers like me and ended up having a better time than I did. She was stunned at how cool everyone was and how much fun she had. "You were the only asshole there," she said to me.

Reassure her that there'll be other women there... and likely at least one guy who couldn't care less about sports.   ;D

Oh man, I can see the future.

    Moddy's wife = Dr. J

Anyway, I'd like to go to the game that has the most SportsJournalists.commers at it.

    Baseball news:

I have 8 people confirmed so far.  All 8 are attending Friday and Saturday's games and 3 have committed to also attending the game on Sunday.  Tickets are $ 9.00 CDN apiece but you don't need to send money immediately.  Let me know if you're coming so that I can get accurate counts (I've reserved for 30 so far) but payment can be made to me anytime before the end of May.

The seats reserved for us are:

    Friday - Section 526, Rows 1 - 3
    Saturday - Section 527 - Rows 2 - 4
    Sunday - Section 526, Rows 3 - 5

You can check them out at http://www.rogerscentre.com/ticketing/seating_charts/.

Payments can be made via PayPal using my email address ov1kenobi@gmail.com.  Any Canadians who prefer to send a personal cheque can contact me by email for my address. Unfortunately, I can't take cheques from American banks because my bank will charge me $ 10 to cash your $ 9 cheque.  ::)

You mean American banks aren't the only ones who rip their customers off?

When are people planning on arriving? If I came, and got there that Thursday night, would there be people there too ready to go out and tip a few back? And by tip a few back I mean drink the bars dry until they have to close. Or at least I did last night I guess.

There are no American banks.  Just multinationals who can rip us off in a bigger way.  ;)

I'm planning on driving up Friday, staying Friday and Saturday and leaving Sunday afternoon (presuming it's a Sunday afternoon game).
