When is the last day to change any info? Dr. J and I might skip staying on Sunday and head to Niagara Falls for a night.

No idea. Call the hotel and they'll let you know.

I'd let you continue to show your ignorance, but let's get the facts straight.

The Amtrak station is actually in Dearborn, probably 15-20 minute drive from the airport.

But feel free to continue to stereotype fuckface.

Who Knows, thanks for your kind interjection. :D

There actually is an Amtrak station in downtown Detroit, or there was as of a couple years ago -- I went through there. Of course, I wouldn't want to present any facts to refute your polite reply, therefore you can pretend this message doesn't exist.

You're right, though -- Dearborn is closer, but that would necessitate a change of trains in Detroit, anyway.

    Actually, you're wrong again.

You'd go from Dearborn to Toledo and then around Lake Erie before crossing the border in NY.

You are right. VIA Rail used to go right into Detroit, but they now stop short in Windsor. Not everyone's perfect.

Potential bad news on this end (well, some will see it as good news): My participation is now doubtful. My wife's health may not allow her to travel and I won't go without her.
I've purchased tickets and will pay HC for them and if I don't go I will donate them to someone who needs them.
Still booking room, etc., she's going to wait until the last possible minute to make the final call. She want to go as badly as I do.
