I don't think I can make it, but boy, the thought of calling Spnited an old man over a beer and him taking a weak and drunken swing at me is really appealing. :D

I'd still be drinking and ignoring you while you were falling off your stool.

OK, hope these questions aren't coming too far outta left field.

    1) While there in Toronto, I think it'd be fun (and conducive to my recent workout agenda) to take a power walk/jog around Toronto (ie, for someone like me who has never been to Toronto and would like to see the city). Is Toronto -- or at least the area around our hotel --"safe" for such daily morning treks?

    2) If it is fairly safe, would anyone who is going on the outing be interested in teaming up with me to go walk/jog?

***DISCLAIMER: If we or I or anyone is severely hungover, then we or I reserve the right to back out of the pact.***

    Yes--assuming you don't mean 4:00 a.m.

How many miles/kilometres do you want to do? I or one of the other Torontonians could maybe suggest a route.

Well I'm not looking to do a 5K ... :) Just trying to see if anyone would be interested in getting some exercise. Otherwise, guess I'll just hit the hotel gym.

Will anyone even be passed out by then? Much less waking up for a hike?

Some of us old guys think 1:00 a.m. is late. :)

From the hotel you can easily go the few blocks down Yonge Street to Queens Quay.  It won't be crowded in the morning but busy enough to be safe.  It even follows onto the Lakeshore Path for cyclying, walking and running.  On a typical hot July weekend you get a terrific breeze off the lake and the view is lovely.

I walk regularly (about three miles; don't feel like going to a converter right now). I could be persuaded if the debauchery doesn't rack me too badly.

That's about 5 kilometers, my American friend. :D
