Since the Jays are playing the Mariners, if anyone knows the beat guys for the Seattle papers, invite them to join us after they file.
It would also be nice if some of the Toronto SJs could make it out.
Not like there's a big Sunday sports section to put out. :D

You're just fools to believe you have anything she needs.

    She's like the wind.

I just found out my passport is expired, and I would need to go get photos, and then wait maybe more time than I have before the outing for a passport to show up at my house. I don't want to risk spending the money if it might take six weeks to make it to my door.

Serious, serious question: will I be okay with just the birth certificate, Social Security Card and California driver's license? I'll be crossing the border on a Greyhound from Detroit, MI to Toronto, if that changes things. I'm just afraid that after the recent discovery of all those terrorists in Canada, maybe I wouldn't be able to make it into the country with just those three pieces of identification?

    LAME!!

Don't get me wrong, I love to walk and run.

I just don't like to walk and run with luggage, purse, camera equipment, etc.

Cradle. Here you go, direct from the Canadian Border Security Agency (Customs) website:

"When you enter Canada, a customs officer may ask to see your passport and a valid visa, if one is necessary. If you are a citizen of the United States, you do not need a passport to enter Canada. However, you should carry proof of your citizenship, such as a birth certificate, certificate of citizenship or naturalization, as well as a photo ID. If you are a permanent resident of the U.S, you should bring your Permanent Resident Card (i.e., green card) with you."

And the guys recently arrested were Canadian citizens, btw.

Thanks, JR. So that won't suddenly change in the next month?

I crossed the border last summer, flashed my driver's license, no problems.
Tell you this, NEVER joke with these guys.
They will strip your car faster than any thief.

And if you're wearing sunglasses, take them off before you hit the customs booth.

Every customs officer, no matter the country, was born without a sense of humour gene.

    The questions are simple.

"What's your citizenship?" What is the purpose of your visit? How longare you stayin? Anything to declare?" .

Yeah, when they ask that, just say you declare you have a dozen Tim Horton's. :D

Sounds like the guy from the steaks-in-the-case-of-Bud Light commercials.

That's when you adopt a bad Southern accent and proclaim:
'I declare, you are so fine I could sop you up with a biscuit!'
