    Sounds good, Ragu.

If we need to cut off a few miles (say to maybe 8 or 9) and slow down the pace to 7:50-8:00, that's fine, too ... especially if others will be joining. The more, the merrier.

(And this long run thing wasn't a problem a weeks ago. I recently switched my long runs from Sundays to Saturdays and just look at the hell it's wreaking on my social life.)

That's what I'm looking for. Not the hot lead singer, the song.

Orange, I can handle that pace if it ends up just being the two of us, but I'm happy to run at a slower pace, too, if there are others. I have been holding myself back because I am still a little afraid of my leg snapping in half. But 7 1/2 minute miles are within the range I've been sticking to. I haven't been doing too many long runs, because I have other exercise I like to get in each day, but I did 10 miles a few days ago (only on a treadmill; hadn't planned on it, but I just started going and didn't feel like stopping) and I still had gas in the tank.

All that said, I am still not sure yet whether I'll come along. I might just do 45 minutes on a treadmill instead, if I have access to one. I am going to be drinking the night before (and have a feeling Jones is going to try to put me in the hospital) and 10 or 11 miles is a big time commitment--I may want to leave more time for hanging out and doing fun stuff that day.

I won't be done throwing up by the time you finish your run. [/ballfour]

There is no try, only do.

Hell, just walking between the hotel, ballpark, bars and Tim Horton's will be enough exercise for me.

I'm down for a run to the Timmy's.

I'm "Rolling Up to the Rim." Tim's will keep me alive.

I've never been to Tim Horton's.  But looking at the menu online, it seems to be a French-English bilingual version of Dunkin' Donuts.  Am I right?

By the way, one of the WFAN talking heads is apparently on his way to Toronto right now.  It's been quite a long drive thus far.  ::)

They have just introduced the strawberry tart into their arsenal of goodies:

No. There is nothing in the U.S. that compares to the greatness of the Ti-Ho.

Well of course not, because Jersey's own T-Ho plays in England now!

    P.S. Hi Crass!  ;D
