I am so glad to be bailing from here. I need the four days off -- not because of work so much, but I am screaming to get out of this town.

My break starts in about 48 hours, and my adventure starts a short time thereafter. Bring it on, I say.

I can hear the strains of Holiday Road by Lindsay Buckingham playing in my head.

  3. I'm not JR, but I've never seen a Wells Fargo in the Toronto area.

Google says there's one in noth Toronto, but that's far from where you'll be.

The only Wells Fargo I've seen is their credit office, not a bank. However, you should be able to use most of the bank machines here to get cash if neccesary.

Remember: you can only buy booze and beer at the provincially run liquor and beer stores. Most of them close around 9:00 or 10:00. You can't dart into your local corner store at 1:00 a.m. for a six pack.

As far as money, I'm taking about $500. The cost of our shared hotel room and gas will mostly come out of that, but I'll also have a little extra for that.

I'm planning about $300 to spend. That's $100 a day. I can't drink SUPER heavily all three nights. So I think that's good.

    Weather update.

Environment Canada's five day forecast: Friday & Saturday, Sunny with highs of 32C (90F).

A little too hot for my taste but it sure beats rain.

Shit, it's been 98 a day here. 90 sounds like a fucking break.

Well, if it's humid, it'll feel like 100.

Anyway, I'm Canadian. Weather is the great conversation generator.

And no matter what the season is, you'll want the other one (there's only two, winter and summer)

Yeah, but 98 with humidity feels like 110. :(

Doesnt 37 C sound so much cooler than 98F?
