    I came home yesterday to an awesome package from Idaho that included a T-shirt, a chocolate bar my wife and kids are trying to fight me for, a copy of the local newspaper and a beautiful postcard with a super nice note about SS and family. After showing it off to my family, I took the gifts into the newsroom to show off today. It's supposed to be around 70 degrees here this weekend, so the shirt may get some use right away. Thanks SS!

    Today, Santa flew down from the North Pole .... via Canuckistan .... and brought me a really cool Maple Leafs t-shirt (Go Reimer!) and some really cool chocolate bars.

    Santa arrived a couple days ago from the balmy southwest, bringing gifts of local flair and a high school t-shirt with a mascot that must be googled to be believed. There was a lovely card in there as well.

    My only regret is that I forgot to check the mail for a couple days, thus delaying my joy until now. Thanks, Santa. You freaking rock.

    Gave the lustre of Secret Santa gifts all in a tether
    When, what to my wondering eyes should appear
    But a Wisconsin Kringle, a shirt and three magazines, oh dear!

    The good/great news: Everyone who shipped on the 16th or earlier, their giftee has received their gift!

    The still good news: Seven gifts are on their way!

    The bad news: I have not heard back from The Writing Waffle, Jay Farrar, Pilot or Gehrig on if they've shipped. Still waiting to hear from you guys ... let me know if something came up so I can get replacement gifts in the mail to your giftees!!!

    My gifts arrived yesterday and today. Mrs. Claus done good.

    I wish I could share tales of my awesome loot, but that would out Mrs. Claus. NO OUTING!

    Crap, forgot to post. Mine was shipped and Post Office said it would be there Saturday or Monday.
