I think I got All-Canadian SportsJournalists.com honourable mention last year. Still pissed about that! :)

Has there ever been any thought given to other awards like the Lady Byng (for most gentlemanly/womanly poster)? Or would more awards, like more bowl games, just cheapen the honor?

If money were involved, it would have happened long ago.

How could we get this far without this?

Outing: The act of revealing a poster's true identity on the board. When done by the poster him/herself, it's a perfectly fine act. When done by another posting, it's an act of treason to the board. See also, Outings, group (D.C., Toronto)

Not to complete threadjack this thread any more than it already has, but there used to be a guy who posted on here Softball_guy or Softball_dude or something like that. He lived up in the Northeast, and we used to chat from time to time. If you're that guy, PM me.

She did get it right....the thread's title was a typo.

That's how I remembered the typo - Your post, 21.

Something about "love is as hopelessly twisted as the title of this thread" or something along those lines... A beautifully written post.

Well, then, I'm just saying what it should of been [see also, She Who Must Not Be Named].

He Who Must Not Be Named For a time, a poster named sauronseye had that designation. He cranked on reporters for being lazy and for feasting on mac and cheese at the buffet.

That's the only post I ever saved of my own...but i didn't refer to the thread title.

I think what really got us all about that thread was that everyone was really spilling from the guts...Young Simon was having girl trouble, and we were all trying to give him advice...60 pages later, people were crying and talking about divorce and death and children and joy, and all the glorious chaos that goes along with falling and staying in love.

But did you write the "hopelessly twisted" line, or did I dream that?
