No plans to, homey. Making room in my closet for that nice, new Virginia Tech visor. :)

  2. I actually believe McClain is more deserving than Ingram. I'm just underwhelmed by Ingram and feel like Richardson would have done the same or better with the opportunity. He ran for 30 yards in their huge rivalry game, a game they almost lost. If the award really is for the best college football player, it's Suh and it's not that close. He changes games in so many ways. I think you can say the same for Gerhart and Spiller.

Agreed. You can put Ingram, Richardson or Upchurch in the backfield full time and any of them would rush for 1,400 yards or whatever it was. Not sure the backups for Gerhart, McCoy or Suh would have done just as well.

I don't have a vote so here goes my preferences.
    1. Ingram
    2. Suh
    3. Gerhart.

But I think McCoy could win in a vote sure to bring controversy.

Can anyone explain how Ingram is a superior player to Gerhart?

The homer votes each year crack me up. We're already seeing several this year, as tracked by http://www.stiffarmtrophy.com.

McClain joins Lefevour, Masoli, Nesbitt and Mallett as players who were named on ballots.

Also looks like a TON of people are voting Suh No. 1, but it's looking like he'll finish third.

One of several reasons the Heisman is a complete joke.

Oh-oh, I better save my pennies for Sonner's visor.

I know a voter who picked Suh based solely on the Big 12 title game, and he didn't even watch most of that game, just heard the stats. (He hadn't watched Suh play during the regular season.)

That is a fascinating Web site, BTW. The regional breakdown is what you might expect.

Looks like it's gonna be damn close. But yes, save your pennies. :)

Suh is running away with 1st-place votes, and closing in on Gerhart.

Oh-oh, Sonner. So, what size do you wear again? 8)
