SJ Heisman balloting

Looks like Ingram is gonna win, but it's gonna be damn close between Suh and Gerhart for second.

 

If I had a vote Suh would be No.1. I saw several Nebraska games this season and he was uncontainable in every one.

 

Suh gave a lot of voters massive erections, apparently. He is now in 2nd, according to stiffarm.com, and making a furious charge toward Ingram.

According to the projections, Suh is third. He's second only among the ballots that have been given to the site.

 

Yeah, I just went back and saw the "points" and didn't see the projection.

I look at some of the voters on that list and wonder why the award is a big deal. I wouldn't let five of them clean up Jack's poop from the yard, let alone vote for the Heisman.

 

So a guy might win by having the most second-place votes? Well then.

Whew. I was hoping you weren't talking about me. I checked, my name is not on their list. They haven't found me yet and I hope they don't try.

I was just talking about this with a friend. Going by Stiffarmtrophy.com, which has picked the last seven or eight winners, Ingram wins. But only by a 4 percent margin. And there's only a 2 percent different between Gerhart and Suh for second place. This might be the year that site gets it wrong. They didn't seem too confident in picking the winner this year.

That said, I think it'll go Ingram, Suh, Gerhart.
