I think it is. Remember all the rage when Charles Woodson got the award instead of Peyton Manning more than a decade ago? It sucks - suffice it to say I don't agree - but welcome to Heisman politics.

Suh raised hell as a defensive tackle. That's a lot harder to do than as a quarterback or running back. It deserves a lot more credit than it gets.

We'll see if Tebow has a game to play next year...

I voted Ingram, Gerhart, Case Keenum.

I was on the road when Suh was abusing Texas, or I'd probably had him third.

I woulda had no problem with Gerhart winning.

    McCoy? Last year.

Tebow? Cry me a fuckin' river.

You're in charge of one of the hopeless case NFL franchises who'll be drafting in the top 5-6 in April. Your opinion on who's the best college player costs many, many millions. Who do you choose? Or rather, rank these five excellent players 1-5.

    1) Suh ... and it's not even close
    2) Ingram
    3) Gerhart
    4) McCoy

    5) Tebow

    That is effin' brilliant, TBF.

    Should have been:
    1. Gerhart
    2. Sud
    3. Ingram

I studiously avoided the hour-long clusterfuck, sticking with ESPNEWS until they made the announcement and broke in for coverage. Why subject yourself to 50-plus minutes of bloviating? For the privilege of seeing Gino Torreta resemble the undead?

If he would have started eating flesh, tho, you would have been sorry.

    The only mitigating factor, Dools.

Being that the Heisman really is a team award, does McCoy now have the right to scream at his lineman for costing him the Heisman last week? I've got to think if the sacks were two at most and the Longhorns won by three touchdowns, he would have won the thing.
But with Gerhart winning the Doak Walker award, Suh taking home the defense and lineman award, McCoy getting the Maxwell and O'Brien the only one of the finalist who ended up without hardware was Tebow.
