I'm guessing both Stanford and Nebraska would struggle to win four games without those players.

And I heard that stat today about Suh leading his team in tackles. Ya, that's amazing.

    Gerhart.
    Tebow
    Ingram.

Although, if we just went off yesterday's games, my vote would be tied between McElroy and Suh.

The Gators were in the SEC Championship because the defense dominated against shitty offenses. When the defense gave out, Tebow was nowhere to be found.

I don't know if Ingram is the best back in the state of Alabama.

Not sure why Tebow is even in the top 3 for some of you.
He had a decent year. That's it. Nothing special, certainly nothing Heisman worthy.

And I'm not a Tebow hater. Personally, I don't think he got nearly enough credit last year for the late fourth-quarter drives against OU and Bama to put those games away. He made some unreal third-down throws during those stretches. But man, he just wasn't anywhere close to great this year. At all.

    Balloting is closed.

SJ Nation has invited 5 contenders to its Heisman ceremony. These five players were head and shoulders above all other players in balloting (Case Keenum and C.J. Spiller both had great seasons, but didn't get the votes).

    In alphabetical order:

Toby Gerhart, running back, Stanford University

Mark Ingram, running back, University of Alabama

Colt McCoy, quarterback, University of Texas

Ndamukong Suh, defensive tackle, University of Nebraska

Tim Tebow, quarterback, University of Florida
