Corbin Bernsen? I thought he'd turned into the king of straight to DVD dreck.

I second Californication. Sharp, funny, cool. Should be able to download it.
Also second Dexter. Really good quasi-mind fuck.

Breaking Bad on AMC is outstanding. It just finished its first season. I think it's about to rerun those shows in anticipation of the second season.

Here's the latest on the show's success from the show's Web site:

Breaking Bad has nabbed four Emmy nominations for its debut season -- including recognition for Bryan Cranston as lead actor in a drama series -- as AMC garnered the most nominations of any basic cable network.

The drama, renewed for a second season, is also honored for Outstanding Cinematography for a One Hour Series (for Director of Photography John Toll), Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series (for the show's creator Vince Gilligan) and Outstanding Single-camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series (for Editor Lynne Willingham).

Okay, I just checked. AMC will air the seven shows from the first season on consecutive Sunday nights starting this Sunday. If anyone missed this, this is your chance. It's really a great show.

Are you telling me "Cavemen" got more than one episode?

He's probably thinking he needs a steady paycheck in the meantime, and he's great in the show. I remember him as an asshole third baseman, and he makes the tough transition to asshole ex-cop. Dude's got range.

Can't believe no one's mentioned Firefly (all of which is on Hulu, by the way).
