Whatever. You need to take over your own mid-Pacific island chain before you can make any such foolish claim.

I'm sorry JR but the beaches on Lake Huron can't hold a candle to either of these two places:

    Nassau, Bahamas

Nice, France (which is actually the worst of the French Riviera beaches, but I couldn't find a good picture for Cap d'Ail or Antibes)

Uh, yeah, but can you get attacked by a grizzly bear at those beaches?

No, you can't. (And no, getting attacked by a hairy bear in France doesn't count.)

No thanks. I prefer mine to be warm (both the air and the water) a majority of the year.

Oh, and I'm not a big fan of bears attacking me while swimming.

Back to the language thing...I have never known an American who demanded people speak English when he or she went aboard. It would be nice if others would reciprocate when they came to America. And if you want to live here, speak the language.

Check out Grand Beach, Manitoba once rated by Playboy in the top ten in the world. And the sand is grand also.

Yes, Hondo, and if you move to China, I'm sure you'll learn to speak the language in a matter of weeks.

  12. If he moved to China, he'd better darn well learn it.

And a lot of the people he's talking about in the U.S.have had more than a matter of weeks to learn English. That doesn't mean all of them have learned it.
