Wait.......what the hell happened between December and April?

 

Very weird in retrospect, really.
My doctor was in the process of and has since retired. In Dec., I saw him and said I wanted a referral.
He said 'Great, so-and-so is taking my practice. Once we get through that, we'll call you and have you come in for a referral.'
I should have said 'No, let's do this procedural BS now so we can keep it moving.'
But I didn't.
I waited for the office to call me. Nothing happened.
A couple weeks ago I called the practice and said 'What up?'
Woman said the deal to takeover my doctor's practice didn't happen. I said 'So can I come in and see Dr. X and get a referral.'
She said 'No, he's retired, but Dr. Y is taking his patient's for the time being. Would you like to see him? right now he's booked into June. However, if you'd like to see Dr. Z, she can see you in two weeks.'
I said 'Please book me with Dr. Z.'

Today we finally got it done, and now we're at the stage of actually scheduling the procedure rather than the appointment.

And Dr. Z is not even the one doing the procedure.

 

Between late-term issues and post-delivery, there was no action happening anyway.
