Speaking of Horatio Sanz... is that him?

I'm sure it's like music, the cast you like best is the one that was on when you were in high school - to me Phil Hartman has no peer. He did political sketches (Reagan and Clinton), he did the professional announcer guy, he played the dad, and of course, Sinatra.
Don't know if you've seen this, his SNL audition.

Oh yes, this episode has been crammed to the gills with cameos.

    This Beethoven sketch is awful.

Sudekis as Jesus? Fucking inspired, and buried at the end.

    "You pray to me?!?"
Jesus: "Yeah, I'm just not in everyone's face about it."[stares down Tebow]

    Awesome.

I thought Beethoven was great. Ditto Tebow. Ditto most of it, really. Very, very solid episode.

    Lazily-written, poorly-researched crap.

If you know so little about the show you can't squeeze out a paragraph or so on the performances of Piscopo, Shannon, Garrett Morris, Spade, Nealon, Chevy Chase (!?!), Curtin and Radner, don't fuckin' bother.

Summed up by the comment on Dennis Miller:

Which precisely sums up the role of Chevy Chase on the show.

It's obvious the writer hated the 90s casts.

And I'm sorry, the fact that you rank someone who was a cast member for all of four episodes (Morwenna Banks) ahead of Fallon and Kattan as well as others with five or six seasons loses all credibility for the topic at hand.

Fallon showed last night that someone who was "pretty good" on the show 10 years ago looks like Dana freaking Carvey next to the current cast.

Carvey at No. 9 is offensive.

It took me until the Beethoven sketch to figure out that WAS Sanz. When they did the four-man song with him, Fallon, Kattan and Morgan, I kept trying to figure out who he was.

I was fading hard around 12:30, but glad I stayed up to see the Tebow skid. "Dad bless him." hahahhhahahaha.
