Tough to be shittier than that opening...

  2. Yeah, but my unnatural dislike of Santorum pushed it ahead.

Although this is like arguing Tim Couch vs. Akili Smith

Drunk Uncle is a consistently strong character. Has me rolling every time.

    Love Drunk Uncle.
This week's show was pretty good. Barkley was solid.
I'm guessing Pharoah was in so many skits because of Barkley, with either Pharoah writing for him or Barkley demanding he be put in skits.

The Prejudice Bowl - good stuff.

I was babysitting my niece and nephew, so what do I get for letting my nephew stay up for SNL? During the drunk uncle bit - he turns to me and says, "he looks like you at Christmas."

How badly was Lorne Michaels shitting his pants when Heat-Hawks went to the third OT Thursday night? Charles was due for rehearsal at 9 a.m. Hope he had a charter with a cot.

The skit with the little Lord Fauntleroy character or whatever the hell his name is was just terrible. And it's not the first time they've done it. Maybe I just don't get it. Thought it was another brutal effort with a few bright spots. Drunk Uncle was very good, and the NBA stuff, though I didn't like Pharoah all that much in that one. The bowls promo thing was pretty good. I missed the last 20 minutes because the game ran long, and I didn't feel bad about turning it off early.

They definitely ran out of steam at the end. They showed the credits to the final name, which means they came up plenty short.

You know, I've sort of ridden along with the wave of 1) Pharoah joining the cast; and 2) the group disgust over Pharoah not getting a lot of work.

But I'm beginning to realize that he hasn't done a thing to distinguish himself in the limited opportunities he's had.

You don't like any of the celeb impressions he does? I've thought they've been really good. The "Back to the Future" casting auditions alone, with him as Eddie Murphy, is probably in my Top 50 SNL skits. As far as his limited opportunities, I think it would be hard for anyone to make a mark as Hotel Clerk #2, and that's the kind of roles he's getting because of all the experience people in front of him.

I believe a lot of his impressions have sounded very similar.
