I have done this double-take many a time myself, haha.

She's been waiting a long time for that follow-up to "Heaven is a Place on Earth."

I know about it, but my lips are sealed.

Bummer that Jane Wiedlin didn't follow up on her landmark, groundbreaking role of Joan of Arc in the third Bill & Ted movie.

Somehow I replied to this before @BYH 2: Electric Boogaloo did, this is a damn good 80s single from Jane Wiedlin:

Mostly apropos of nothing, I always thought Belinda's best song was her last hit single (well, most recent, but it's been 33 years, as much as Belinda is forever on my list of five free flings, I'm not feeling a chart comeback):

Such a happy, euphoric song. A good selection after last night's awfulness.

Owing to the actual SNL thread, looks like the Go-Go's made one appearance on Nov. 14, 1981.

Host was Bernadette Peters. They played "Our Lips are Sealed," while Billy Joel was also a musical act on the same show and got two songs.

All the SNLS are on Peacock, right? That would be a fun start to finish project. I have a pretty solid knowledge of everything from '89 or so onward but before that I just got the bits and pieces from best-ofs on Nick at Nite (anyone remember when that network launched with SNL reruns) and VH-1 Classic.

Yes, but they are all edited down -- a lot of them mainly due to rights issues. Think more like when Comedy Central would air hour-long SNLs.

I guess this was from whatever NBC aired for New Year's Eve.

Chloe killed it as usual and Sarah was fun, but this would've been perfect for Melissa Villasenor. She's a master of both Miley and Dolly.

Seems harmless enough for the first two hosts out of the break.

Maybe that House Speaker sketch will still be in play.
