Was reading my most recent issue of Esquire today, and among its "79 Things We Can All Agree On" was this gem:
#22 "SNL is pretty good these days."

    Why is the video backwards?

It's a semi-common YouTube ploy to post the video backwards, because I guess it confuses the automated scanners looking for copyrighted material, or something.

No way anyone over thirty wrote that, and/or they're related to Lorne Michaels and/or the Frank Rich family

I enjoyed The Spike Network presents "Downton Abby."

Quirky Girl, AKA Zooey Deschanel this week, Maya Rudolph next week, and Jonah Hill in three weeks. Hopefully, some classic hosts to close the season.

Going to try not to hate tonight's show on basic principle, even if Zooey Deschanel makes me want to slice my face up to dull the pain.

Who was that male cameo in the French skit?

This is pretty terrible so far.

That was Jean Dujardin, Oscar-nominated star of The Artist, which is what they were parodying. Fine specimen of a man, too. DAMN.

I liked Zooey's monologue song, but these Chrysler commercial parodies are dreck.

I, on the other hand, think this has been excellent after the dry cold opening.
