SNL's Continued Downward Spiral Thread

It's painful to watch, really. And I have a pretty low bar. Though The Artist thing wasn't terrible. Course, I also didn't have to listen to Zooey.

 

I have never heard of Karmin before, but this tune is pretty catchy. Her hair is all kinds of weird though.

 

Between them and Deschanel, the hipster cred is through the ROOF on this episode.

 

Cage and Cage. Cool.

 

I have been anxiously awaiting this ever since they debuted this bit. It was only a matter of time.

 

Fixed because I couldn't take it much longer.

 

OK, Cage and Cage was worth waiting for. But not much else has been memorable. And the last half-hour is usually weaker.

 

I think this latest Zooey and friends skit was strong, too. Abby Elliott, of course, never hurts.

Really, I think it's been a pretty good night.

 

Actually, that's my friend Amy, who won't see it until she gets home because she decided to see TMBG tonight.

 

Well, you need to teach Amy the difference between anxious and eager.

 

Nice touch showing the still of Whitney Houston with Mary Catherine Gallagher.

 

Okay, that cut to a shot of Whitney Houston leading into the break was incredibly random and poorly timed. Also, the sketch was awful.
