Yeah, I think the general public is far less cynical about the show than we are. I hear complaints from friends, but mostly the comments are about the good moments.

 

And to pre-empt the next thought, no, that doesn't mean that this board is smarter than the public in general.

 

Speak for yourself. I'm smarter than all my friends.

 

I don't know anyone in my day-to-day life wwho watches the show.
In n average work day, I deal with students ages 18-23 and coworkers ages 30-65.
I never hear anybody talking about the show.

 

I certainly do, and the buzz is generally positive.
