SNL's Continued Downward Spiral Thread

Gotta love live TV!

 

Lohan is getting savaged on Twitter for flubbing her lines. Has it been as bad as people are suggesting?

 

She was reading directly off the cue cards in the Scared Straight sketch, and couldn't even get that right.

She also has graying cocaine teeth.

 

No. It. Has. Not. Been. That. Bad. You. Can. Barely. Tell. She's. Reading. A. Cue. Card.

 

She did F up her lines during Scared Straight and it was obvious she was reading off the cue cards. I know Lorne mandates it, but most of the hosts do a better job of hiding it.

And we have another Jon Hamm sighting. GODDAMN THAT MAN IS HAWT.

Maybe SNL should go all-in on the "extra stars doing cameos" thing. Instead of one star being expected to do a bunch of skits, have a No. 1 and two or three supporting cameos who do one skit each.

 

Also, Jack White is really embracing the Edward Scissorhands look. It's terribly unattractive.

 

Because he normally looks like Ryan Gosling.

 

The fact that they showed two previously-aired, pre-recorded unfunny bits during the last half-hour would suggest that poor Lindsay was probably having a problem keeping up.

 

I liked the Disney Wives, but shut it off after the scared straight skit. Why she's reading off cue cards to recite her own film career -- and doing so obviously, not even looking at the person she's supposedly talking to -- is beyond me.

I've seen better acting in high school plays. Seriously.

 

I guess some train wrecks pull some sort of desirable rating.
