Ironically, that was basically my Halloween costume. My daughter wanted a "garden" themed costume for the family. She was a butterfly, I was a bee and my wife was a flower. Which means that, yes, technically I would be "pollinating" my wife.

Our second child is due in July.

Is it true that bees die when their "stinger" is used? Uh oh!

So many iconic Will Ferrell characters, and this is the best they can do?

    Fuck you, Seth Meyers.

    Go as this guy ...

    "Fred Garvin ... male prostitute."

But your original idea is pretty spot-on.

  7. For a Wes Ferrell-hosted show, I expected much, much more. One of the most disappointing efforts in a long time, all the way around.

Did they do any skits on pitchers hitting home runs?

Yeah, I was disappointed as well. I thought it was better than most recent episodes, but not at the level that you expect when someone like Ferrell is hosting.

I think of the people who typically host once a season, Baldwin, Timberlake and Ferrell are usually the ones where the bar gets raised a bit.

  11. Better than most this season, but a lot of the writing left me wondering if that was the best they could do with Ferrell. He pretty much writes himself, and some of the skits with him just didn't take advantage of what he's good at.

It wasn't bad, but when it's Ferrell, you expect a lot more.

He's probably in the top 10 ever on the show, and without question he's the most popular castmember of the last decade.
