Phil Hartman when he cuddled with Chris Farley?

Yes... and I thought it was quite classy. Ya, I know Kristen's been an air hog, but you could tell she was getting emotional. I swear she was crying during part of the sketch. And I thought it was great that Lorne Michaels came up for the last dance.

Did you see all the former cast members there?

Funny that Kattan was there since he was gone by the time Wiig came in 2005.

I'm amazed frankly how long Kenan Thompson's been there. I've grown up (don't judge) watching him as a kid in movies or on All That.

Kenan Thompson will hit the 10-year mark at SNL if he sticks around next season. Seth Meyers is going for 12 and Fred Armisen for 11. Darrell Hammond (14), Al Franken (11) and the immortal Tim Meadows (10) are the only other cast members to appear in 10 or more seasons according to the list I'm looking at.

And he's been high since Good Burger. (A joke from another SNL this season)

I swore I read this was also Sudeikis' final show, which might explain why they did the ESPN Classic sketch again last week with Forte.

The web-only Jay Pharoah as Stephen A. Smith was pretty good. And I love the Catchphrase Kings of Comedy, which was web only also.

I can't believe Sudeikis would leave, nor would they allow him to, with the election heating up. Same with Armisen. I don't think they want to train another Romney or Obama right now. Though, maybe I can see Killam and Pharaoh taking the roles if they stick around.

His contract is up, and he tried to get out of it a year early last summer. He may come back on an ad hoc basis in the fall until after the elections, but he's done as a full-time cast member.

It was cool, but I thought it was better done a couple years ago when Will Ferrell played Goodnight Saigon and about 50 celebrities made their way to the stage...

I like Wiig, and I think she's going to be a huge movie star, but I also think she's one of the most overrated SNL regulars in a long time.

Both Wiig and Sudeikis have pretty solid movie careers waiting for them.

After watching Hader on update, nobody should ever harp on Jimmy Fallon for not being able to keep his shit together during sketches.

Right, but as has been noted, on this thread, even, the Stefon skits are totally redone after rehearsal and he never sees some of the lines until he reads them.

Plus, Stefon is funny and Fallon almost never was on that show.
