I'm surprised that Melissa Bayer wasn't let go. She is especially weak.

I will miss Abby Elliott.

 

This might have been mentioned already, but I think Abby Elliott is going to become a regular on HIMYM by midseason.

 

Jay Paharoh? (Sp?) will be Obama, according to The Wrap.

 

This might say something (not good) about her, but I knew that wasn't her right first name but still couldn't think of what it was. So I had to google her. That's probably a bad sign.

 

Nice. I'm for it.

 

I'm oddly excited about tonight's episode. We'll see how long that lasts.

 

I wonder why Jay's Obama impression was a little off? I'm heard him do so much better.

 

His voice on the Mitt Romney attack ad was a little better.

 

So, a good sign for the season, and for Pharoah fans, that he is in the season's cold open?

 

Probably just nervous doing it live in the opening with the pressure on. I know he's done it before, but now it's HIS character, and it's a big responsibility.

 

The cold open was funny, the Romney commercial was funny, the Armisen sketch was awkward and awesome, and Eastwood and Chair is great. Very good start.
