Haven't watched it yet, but one question: How hot was Adam Levine?

I missed the Avengers skit but I was surprised to see him even mention the movie; it's well know he was furious with how his character turned out and has refused to sign on to TA2.

Put it this way: pink is not his color. Especially not in HD.

Thought this was a horrible show. The Californians is NOT working! Just stop it.

And do they have to do a musical opening EVERY time now? It's getting really old. Didn't watch last week's so maybe they skipped one, but the last 5-6 I've seen have had musical openings. And rarely are they any good.

Christie was outstanding, and there wasn't much else good about the show. The Wolf Blitzer thing was decent, but like most of the skits it ran too long. I still love Sudeikis. His skit as Dick Fuel was pretty solid.

And I used to despise Moynihan, but he had become one of the better performers on the show. Where was Nasim Pedrad all night? :(

Found the CNN clip that the SNL skit was based on. Makes the SNL skit funnier in that it was so dead on.

I found the Wolf Blitzer thing pretty darn funny, considering what an air head I imagine him to really be. Sudeikas' look of indignation at one point in that skit was awesome.

The first skit? The Californians? My goodness that was awful. Just not funny at all. Is that part of a series or something? End that madness right the fuck now.

Yes, they have done the Californians at least four times. Was funny the first time, but it's a one-joke skit. And for those of us who have never been to California, we don't really get it that well.

ON a barely-related note, I've always thought one of the show's flaws was that it is too NYC-centric, though not so much in recent seasons. A lot of those Public Access TV talk shows and bad commercials I imagine are funnier to New Yorkers. Though Wayne's World certainly isn't what I'm talking about.

I thought the same thing. I loved the skit the first time or two they did it, but now it's kind of effed out. The first one was also much heavier on chat about the highway, and less on the ridiculous drama, which somehow made it better even though I've never been to California and know little of their road system.

Precisely. The mirror thing just gets sillier every time, and it wasn't that funny to begin with. A couple of doses of this skit were plenty. Makes me wonder if they have focus groups who found it funny the first time or two, but the powers that be didn't realize that it wouldn't play well as a recurring skit.

I think Renner is a great actor, but I thought the show was terrible.

Things like this make me wonder what ends up being cut. This was better than 80 percent of what was in the show.

That would have been the second-best moment of WU after Christie, no doubt about it.

I can't wait until Guy Fieri actually hosts.
