Agree that was the best skit of the night, but there weren't a lot of candidates. Really, TWO game-show skits? And both sucked. Foxx was funny as the Ding-Dong, but that was about the extent of my entertainment. The Maine Justice skit was ridiculous, and the McDermott/Mulroney thing could have been about 33 percent shorter than it was. J-Pop America Fun-Time Now makes me want to smash my television. Maybe I just don't get it, but that might be the worst skit they have done on a repeated basis.

"You're a Rat Bastard, Charlie Brown."

Some of the "kid reaction" shots were priceless.

I think it was a strong episode from start to finish, between the cold open with the children's choir, to Martin Short in the monologue, to all the celebrity cameos, plus the original non-celeb skits (You're a rat bastard Charlie Brown, the royal OBGYN).

EDIT: Also, even though I knew it was coming, Samuel Jackson screaming out "Fuck!" and "This is bullshit!" was really enjoyable for some reason.

I've always thought it was weird when they have someone do a drop-by like in the monologue song (Tom Hanks, Fallon, Fey) and they don't say anything - but then I remembered. If they speak, they have to pay them.

I thought Keenan's "Come on Sam, that costs money!" might have been the funniest part of a pretty good show.

I thought it was particularly strange when they got to Fey and Michaels. Fey looked like she would rather have been just anywhere else than there. Maybe that was intentional... I don't know...

One of the better shows this season. They should have more former cast members back to host. I remember someone saying on Stern (probably Spade or Rock) that Michaels doesn't like to have former cast members back to host very often.

That was a tremendous episode. Best they've done in years. The royal OBGYN was hilarious, and the Charlie Brown skit was as well. Normally, I can't take my eyes off Sudeikis in the What's Up With That skit, because I think his dancing is the best part of it. But now my gaze is moving toward Cecily Strong as the backup singer, for very different reasons. Not a huge fan of The Girl You Wished You Hadn't Started a Conversation With At a Party, but she is tremendous. The Nirvana/McCartney thing was awful. I assume it's just the acoustics, but toward the end it devolved into just a bunch of grating noise.

Actually a funny episode. I was shocked.
'What's Up with That' was awful, but I liked the rest.

Well, the music was bad, too, but the show was funny.

Surprisingly funny tonight. Jennifer Lawrence has some unexpected comedy chops.

Also, she's hot hot hot hottie hottie hot hot.

    A 6.1.

    I'd say the complete opposite.

They had six weeks and came up with that?
