So after 48 hours, my daughter’s Tik Tok has 400,000 views and 90,000 likes

She needs to transition her followers to Instagram. That way, she can build her "brand" and go after the spon-con.

 

It's for the young'uns. Let them have their fun so they can get grouchy at the next generation of content creators.

I remember my high school mass media class talking about how the future of news would be short videos accessed everywhere and bits of text instead of stories with paragraphs.
I can watch the news on a screen on the pump terminal while I fill my tank* and the bullet-pointed lists are annoying. Even as a subscriber, I cannot read a story on any of the big papers without having to close or navigate around pop-up ads. Get off of my lawn!

*Haven't done that in a year. Wow!

I’m basically finding that since she is 13, unless it’s my account she is on, it’s tough to make money.
Eighteen seems to be the magic number.

 

No clue. I think she has a modelling agent and a separate social media agent. The latter tells me she is or expects to be.

 

So she is now a professional TikToker.

She has 155,800 followers and has made $4.33. She has not had one catch fire since she was accepted into the creator fund, but I think it will happen again.

She is going to give marketplace another shot in a month.

I could not be more proud.
