Probably saves you from being mugged when you are slumming on Blue Hill ave.

XM Satellite Radio for the car and a home adaptor kit from HC.

Besides 150 stations I can listen to Dylan's program which, by all accounts, is mind-bogglingly good.

Cotton and cashmere sweater and "History of Violence"from my boys

Eldest gave me a framed photo of him in one of his football games. Great shot

JR, Welcome to the XM Nation, which obviously covers North America.
Try the comedy channels, some great stuff.
And that French sports channel is magnifique!

Mrs. Bubbler and I are deferring gifts to each other for a while, will probably get a new entertainment center for each other. This year, our money went primarily to the kids.

    Other stuff ...

-- Prisoner DVDs, first four episodes (thank you Z-Man)
-- The Best of Blaxspoitation -- three disc set, have listened over the last few days and it is unfailingly good, especially the shit from artists I've never heard of.
-- several gift cards to improve our new house
-- History of Quotations, the history of the world through the quotations of the time, with proper context. Fascinating.
    -- A nice sweater.

Will probably get the Star Wars DVD set of the original three movies, plus I unsuccessfully quested for a Marquette sweatshirt when I visited Wisconsin (wrong part of the state, wasn't in Milwaukee).

It took me about 10 minutes on my first car ride with XM to wonder how I ever got by without it.

Single coolest gift I've ever received. I'll never listen to terresterial radio again.

    Boom,
    I've got 167 already preprogrammed. :)

My musical tastes are pretty eclectic so this is a dream come true.

I'm a fan of The Loft (50), which is a lot of singer-songwriter stuff.

I'm at the point now where I have to have the XM for any trip longer than down to the grocery store.

I'm partial to Sirius over XM, but I never listen to terrestrial radio by choice...
