Except you could make a strong argument his best game may have come against the other ACC team that is going to go to a BCS game and the other division was utter horse shit and Miami was one of the three best teams in it and he crushed them, too.

My point wasn't that Lynch shouldn't be in New York, he probably should be, it was that it is ridiculous to vote for him ahead of Winston when you objectively look at the seasons of both.

This is what I am sure the notepad of the snarky, arrogant idealist national guys who spent the last month telling us how much "character" matters in this award and how they can't vote for a guy with a rape charge hanging over his head.......

Who can I vote for other than that Winston creep?

Johnny Manziel -- Damn you Missouri
Marcus Mariota - Damn you Stanford and USC
AJ McCarron - Damn you Auburn
Boston College dude - Damn you Syracuse
Jordan Lynch -- Damn you Bowling Green
Who the hell is Missouri's QB again?
What was that guy who returned the field goal for Auburn?
Braxton Miller -- No, they are thugs, cheaters and get into fights and flip the bird to the crowd
Hey doesn't Duke have a good player?

    Fixed that for ya.

MWC has a better BCS record than ACC.
    Think about that.

Still unsure of exactly how to proceed here, but I will say I have some unease at being told that 2 of the 3 best players in the country hail from the ACC. Not among the 6 best conferences this season.

Why? Doesn't mean its bereft of talent. Just not a lot of it.

    Still can understand the hesitation.

Not me. Why are you judging individual players by the conference as a whole? The bottom teams of the conference suck, I get it. But that's not a reflection on their ability.

Look at the NFL Drafts and All-Pro teams from the past decade or so. The ACC has always had some extremely talented players, just rarely great teams. Outside of maybe Beamer, there has been a serious lack of elite coaches in that league. Jimbo and Dabo have maybe changed that to a degree.

The ACC is about on par with the Big XII and Big 10 this season. It's just the gap between Florida State and everyone else is a bit larger than it's been in the past. Lot of parity in the middle of the conference.

3 NC State QBs are currently starting in the NFL. Though Russell Wilson has the current distinction of having started in both the ACC and Big 10
