So wait. Winston was the Walter Camp Player of the Year, but McCarron was first-team QB?

    Hmmmm.....

Nonsense. Voters who disregard the proper criteria to give such a token "recognition" vote are not doing their job and don't deserve a vote. They were instructed to choose the most outstanding player in college football, period, not make a sentimental choice based on personal whim.

The answer: Just who we thought.

    Mason sixth? How about that?

What surprises me is that there are more than 700 voters. The way some Heisman voters are constantly reminding people that they have a vote, I would have thought it would have been a bit more exclusive, like say, past winners and two or three media members from each state and a handful of national media types.

I think I saw there were 900 ballots this year. Winston was on 785. First on 600+.

We know the idiot voters won't let Winston repeat next year, but just glancing at the FSU schedule....

Non-con games: Okie State in Cowboys Stadium, The Citadel, Notre Dame, and Florida.

ACC games: at Miami, at Louisville, at NC State, at Syracuse. Home against Boston College, Clemson, Wake Forest, Virginia.

I don't think they'll let Winston win again, just because they don't want to hear another acceptance speech from him. That was BRUTAL.
