Would not be a bad idea for masks to become a permanent indoors “accessory.” It would guard against future pandemics, as well. Also, could curb adulterous thoughts.

Just got my J&J vaccine about an hour ago. One and done. Took long enough for this area to make it available again.

One more sleep and then my last 14-day waiting period is up. Then we find out if I’m as brave as I told myself to be to turn around my life at 45.

Got the second shot Saturday morning. Pretty sure I’ve had the full gamut of side effects. Still better than having the ventilator tube shoved down my throat.

I remain confused. I was told that vaccines killed you.

Fuck Trumpists and their efforts to kill even more people.

Mentioned this on the main Corona thread, but I had my second Moderna last week. Did quite well actually.

Got the shot in the late afternoon, was in and out in half an hour. Went home, drank a lot of Gatorade and took some Tylenol. Felt fine, but couldn’t fall asleep until around 1 or so, woke up at 5:45. Felt OK, just cranky from the lack of sleep. Decided to call out for work anyways. Spent a lazy morning in bed, had a small headache in the afternoon, took a half-hour nap and felt fine.

Went to bed, woke up in the middle of the night feeling hot, took more Tylenol, went back to sleep. Woke up feeling fine, except for some arm soreness.

All in all, I feel pretty lucky.

Tomorrow is my two weeks out day and I can't figure it out - am I good to go tomorrow or Tuesday?

I had my test Wednesday so I could go to the Yankees-Nats game yesterday. Negative. I could do without anymore long Q-tips up my nose.

My understanding is you are out of Shawshank 14 days past your last shot. At least that’s how I treated it Friday night ahead of my busiest, most social Saturday in over a year. And today was hopping through lunchtime when my parents said goodbye and I dropped my daughter back off with her mom.

Waking up from a multi-hour Sunday nap you took because you needed it and not because you were trying to kill another meaningless day is an incredible feeling.

No doubt they are the major drivers of anti-vaccine propoganda.

But RFK Jr. deserves his own circle in hell for vaccine conspiracy theories and pseudoscience, which convinced a number of far-left liberals to avoid getting any innoculations for their children, because of all those harmful chemicals the evil corporations put in to make their children Autistic.

I bring him up only because I saw tweets from him recently. He's got some sort of publication which apparently writes an article for every major allergic reaction to a COVID vaccine.

Then a Google search served up this recent article:

The Anti-Vaccine Propaganda of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

The liberating feeling is fantastic. I know I’m not 100% free but it’s pretty close and no substitute for the sense of freedom.

Had my second Moderna. Only side effect was smug satisfaction.
