So, you've been vaccinated and how do you feel?

Things I've done this week that I hadn't done in ages ...

    • Gathered with vaccinated friends to watch The Falcon and The Winter Solider finale. Several of us usually go to all the superhero movies; hadn't been to one since the Harley Quinn flick last January.

    • Poker night. First time since September or so.

    • Went downtown to NFL draft festivities. Hadn't just walked around downtown in awhile.

I'm about 12 hours post-Pfizer 2 and the whole body ache is kicking in hard. Glad I took today off work. Seriously tempted to take two aspirin and go back to bed.

Mask order indoors lifted here if 80 percent have proof of vaccination. So .... show your vaccination card.

Don't know how I feel about that .... as someone who has had two shots.

I was slightly feverish and achy for about 36 hours after the second Moderna shot. By the 48-hour mark I was fine.

I got my second Moderna shot around noon on Friday. I was fine that day, but I took some Tylenol overnight and drank plenty of fluids.

On Saturday, I woke up around 8 a.m., moved from the bed to the couch, and according to my wife, dozed on and off until 11:30 a.m., haha. Truth be told, I can sometimes do that anyway, but I slept that night at the normal time, suggesting it was the shot. Some slight chills during Saturday and early Sunday, but I've mostly been using Tylenol and drinking plenty of water, so I think I'm out of the woods relatively unscathed here. #famouslastwords

First Pfizer was a minor bee sting. Second one on May 12 I expect the same thing.

Had Pfizer 2 a week ago. Came home, worked, felt fine. Woke up about 3 a.m. with serious chills and thought here we go. Five minutes later they were gone. Was tired Tuesday but basically OK and fine on Wednesday. Arm did hurt on Tuesday but nothing too severe.

Need to get tested Wednesday so I can go to the Yankees-Nats game on Saturday since I won't be two weeks out by then. Have to test negative within 72 hours of first pitch

Don’t you walk your dog a lot? I wonder if there is a connection between frequent exercise and vaccine side effects being mild.

Talked to a friend last night. She and her husband got their second Moderna shots last week, same day, same place. Neither had problems with the first one. Both were very sick after the second. Fever, chills, extreme body pain and now both say they will not take any boosters if necessary. They have no medical conditions in common. It caused me to wonder if some of the reactions are to shots that weren't stored properly or a batch that had impurities in it?

Feel great. My state was more open than many over recent months, so my experience hasn't changed dramatically over the past month-plus I've been fully vaccinated. I am pleasantly surprised at the number of people who voluntarily wear masks or business that are asking for customers to wear them. Some of it is performative, but I would rather wear masks a month too long than a month too short and I think there is value in trying to finish strong, especially where vaccination rates are stalling. Our live music venues are ramping back up. I hope more people get vaccinated as they realize it is safe.

Possibly stored in a regular refrigerator.
