An SID friend suggests there might be some "softball thing" it could mean, something much more innocent than the more obvious meaning. What that could be, I have no idea. He's at a loss to come up with something either.

I asked him to check with his softball people (and advised him to check his school's softball guide).

I don't know what I expected when I clicked on this thread, but I know it wasn't this.

 

If it's about shaved bats, then it isn't bush league like I thought it was.

 

dear god. i know nothing about this "shaved bats" thing but i think an assistant SID is getting fired over this one.

 

I'm kind of disappointed that "landing strip" wasn't an option.

 

Why wasn't the question "clams or hotdogs?" or "tacos or hotdogs?"
