I thought I heard quacking during that scene, but the AC kicked on right in the middle of it.

Yeah, I heard them quacking as well, though I was surprised we didn't see them. I recall Tony looking up into the sky, though the camera didn't show what he was looking at.

Steven Van Zandt nailed his final scene on the show.

So, how many viewers did HBO get for this? Did it crush the NBA Finals?

That organ music was the intro to "You Keep Me Hangin' On" ... a cover by Vanilla Fudge.

"Set me free, why don'tcha babe...."

There's a special on HBO On Demand about the Music of the Sopranos, and Chase talks about the music.

NOTHING is accidental, when it comes to music choices.

Like when they were playing "Heard it through the Grapevine" by Creedence when they were all looking for Phil.

    and of course...

"She was just a small town girl..." as Carm sits down at the table.

I also caught "Heard it Through the Grapevine" (deep into the never-ending instrumental part) and smiled. I don't have On Demand, so I missed the special on the music. I'd love to see it.

Awesome ending.......I didn't get a chance to watch the 8 pm show, but my wife watched it, and said I would hate it.......

    She is wrong.

I was on the edge of my seat for the last 20 minutes.

I am watching it again right now, and as AJ and blond with the stems are in his car, I'm thinking suicide pact......oh well........great, great, great ending.

Not everyone is as thrilled with the ending as the folks over here. This says people crashed the HBO Web site and urges people to drop their subscriptions.
