That'd be quite a change of attitude from a few seasons ago, when Harris* came damned close to busting Tony with the bug in the basement and seemed pretty mad when it didn't happen.

    *It's been a while...that was Harris, right?

That's what I thought also, especially because of how awkward it is with the other agent after he cheers about winning.

Right, but Harris doesn't do OC any more, and he hangs around Satriale's when he's not working.

True...but he came around Satriale's even when he was on OC, right? It seems like there's a season finale from one of the earlier years that ends with Harris and his cronies swinging by Satriale's just to shoot the shit with Tony and the guys.

There was, but in that one he had brought his new partner to introduce him to Tony. Then there was the car wreck and Tony stood there smoking his stogie with a big smile on his face.

Come to think of it, Harris has kind of been a "fan" for a long time...

Just me but I thought it was one of the best episodes of any season.

The ambiguity of the ending matched the moral ambiguity of the whole damn series.

It's as if Chase said to Samuel Beckett, "Hey, you did a pretty good job with "Waiting for Godot, try your hand at this sucker".

When Tony looked up and saw Meadow he had the strangest expression on his face. He would normally have been happy to see her. Someone behind her perhaps? Every major newscaster last night made the comment "and we don't know if Tony is alive or dead." I think you're on to something...good pick-up on that one!

As usual, Simon, you add so much.

watching it again now. lol moment: tony is "miffled" when paulie doesn't jump at the chance to be his main pickup man. ;D ;D ;D

I loved miffled, but Tony's complaining about A.J. "making a molehill" out of things was the line of the day for me.

As far as laughs, Paulie's whole thing with the broom and the cat was pretty damn funny.

I didn't like the ending, though I don't think it would have been possible to have a satisfying one.

"Don't Stop Believing" is the final song? Thought that was kind of a cheesy choice.

Anyone else pick up on some tension between Patsy Parici (sp?) and Tony at the house when they were talking about the wedding? What was the deal with that? The only thing I could think of was Tony heard the way he ran from the hit in the Bing parking lot.
